Testing Maturity Model
Integration (TMMi) 
During
recent years software process improvement (SPI) has become an important part of
the IT industry. Despite the fact that testing often accounts for 30-40% of the
total project costs, still only limited attention is given to testing in the
various SPI models such as the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). As
an answer the test community has recently created the Test Maturity Model
Integration (TMMi). TMMi is a model, complementary to the CMMI, that supports
test process improvement. Like CMMI, TMMi distinguishes five levels of process
maturity.
The
TMMi framework has been developed by the TMMi Foundation. Improve Quality
Services has been accredited to conduct formal TMMi assessments.
